Purpose Statement

As a student in Vincent Ferraro's World Politic's class at Mount Holyoke College, I was assigned the task of building a website concerning a world politics topic. Due to my professor's very loose definition of "world politics", I had a (VERY) wide array of possibilities. After spending some time pondering what to do my project on, I began to realize that my mind kept wandering back to Colombia, my home country, and the poverty that it faces every day. This was the inspiration for my website.
